DIRECTIONS:

By Car:

From Picton follow SH6. As you come into Nelson, turn left at the first roundabout onto Trafalgar Street (the main street of Nelson). Grove Street is the third street on your left (just before the bridge over the Matai River). Almond House is #63, 2 blocks up on your left.

From the West Coast, Christchurch (via the Lewis Pass) or Motueka, follow signs to City Centre Tahunanui. This will take you past Nelson’s Tahunanui Beach and along the waterfront Rocks Road. At the first roundabout, turn left. This is signposted SH6 Picton/Blenheim. At the next roundabout turn right onto Trafalgar Street (the main street of Nelson). Turn left into Grove Street which is the third street along (just before the bridge over the Matai River). Almond House is # 63, 2 blocks up on your left.

Nelson’s airport is approximately 20 minutes drive from Almond House. We would be happy to organize an airport shuttle to pick you up when you arrive – please let us know your flight details when you book with us! The cost is approximately $15.00 for 1 person, $18.00 for 2 persons.

There are two ferry companies which operate between Wellington and Picton. The crossing takes approximately 3 hours. Atomic Shuttles and Intercity Coachlines both offer services to and from Nelson which connect with the ferries.
